Alanis is Avril's idol. Avril's influenced by Alanis but she created the new image of pop/rock chicks together with Pink. Alanis's image was obviously much more defferent form them (Her music is much more heavier, deeper and darker). Ashlee's music very different from Alanis's. looks like she's more close to Avril than Alanis or other pop/rock singers. Otherwise, i think it's great for Ashlee if she could reached Avril's success in her first 3 albums no matter what you think Avril deserves it or not .
