Music News: Muse records new song, first single for "Eclipse" soundtrack - Page 2

I don't know too much about Muse but I want them to stay far away from Twilight.... for their own safety.

Say what you want, but the soundtrack for New Moon was actually quite amazing. Twilight's soundtrack could have been better (even though there were two songs by Paramore [[who I'm in love with]]).

So I'm actually excited to hear more about the Eclipse soundtrack.

Yeah yeah, new member... "what does he know". =]

See, that's the mindset of a lot of Muse fans, but my logic is that these new fans are the reason that "Uprising" got to the top 40 on the Hot 100, and adding more fans to the equation adds up to more success in the long run. As long as their music stays consistently awesome (and I have faith in them, obviously), then I'm not concerned.

lol, something tells me people who liked SBH didn't like "Uprising." It's definitely more industrial and less melodic--less poppy. But amazing, of course.

Either way, it WAS a relative hit for Muse, so I can't disagree. I guess it's frumpy of me to say that about people who like them from Twilight--everybody has the right to be a fan, no matter how they discovered the band.

Only thing slightly ****** about a soundtrack single is that it means a 3rd single off 'Resistance' is delayed.
Other than that, PUMPED.

'Citizen Erased' is definitely better but I honestly prefer 'SBH' over 'Space Dementia'.

'Time Is Running Out' is my favourite though.

As for 'Uprising', it's good, but it shouldn't have been the 1st single. I'd have gone with 'United States of Eurasia' instead.

Oh, and like you said, I don't mind the "Twilight" connection as long as the music is still good.

I don't want such new fans

I don't want them to do anything related to Twilight

Uprising is probobly the weakest song on The Resistance

Uprising is my least favorite song from The Resistance and probably one of my least favorites from their entire discography.

Personally, nothing beats Thoughts of a Dying Atheist.
