I lost people close to me & saw tons of health problems in my family, as well as having a total falling out with my best friend & roommate at the time, not to mention experiencing legal struggles. Before the Orlando shooting, I already considered this one of the worst years of my life. Don't tell me or anybody else you don't know that they're following a meme when you don't know what people go through in their personal lives. You know what they say about those who assume.

It was an ugly year for humanity.. i always think about the Pulse shooting, European attacks and election of Donald Trump as horrifying events that make other years of this decade seem pretty tame. Personally.. it was a good year. Great year for music and our faves as well

For me personally, a close family friend was murdered in her home while I was there. So yeah this year was just draining for so many people.

Some bad things happened, sure. Both in the news and in all of our lives. But I don't think it was a bad year overall, especially not for me.

I got engaged, bought my first house, received a huge promotion at work, traveled across North America, and was able to do many things I've always wanted to do (saw Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Madonna in concert ).

I graduated from high school and started college. I started coming out to friends and family members. But overall, you can't really enjoy it when you know millions of people have either cried or feared for their life this year. It's crazy how it never stopped. Not one month this entire year was it just quiet. Always something bad.

Personally, it was a bad year for me. The second worst year of my life (after 2006).

Mostly riled up because of the clashing of relationships. I'm trying to do the very best I can to gain back any strength that's left of me.

It was a mess tbh. I mean there's always good and bad in every year. It's literally impossible to have all bad experiences within 365 day span. But for the most part, my year was dominated by mess after mess, including money problems, health problems, family problems, etc. Not to mention the stuff not related to me like shootings, Orlando mess, wars, the latter half with the election mess and all the celebrity deaths. 2016 can take a long walk off a short bridge tbh.

Still, I'm thankful to have a place to live and food to eat and a computer to use so...

I need people to stop saying this quote. Im sure people said the same in 1940's when ww2 started. I would understand the impact. But a couple of incidents that happen everyday shouldnt be treated as if the sky is falling. The celeb death hoax is just plain childish. Grow up and grow some !$%@&

2016 has been the worst year ever for me for many personal reasons. I'm ready to #RISE in 2017.

It was okay for me. The only bad thing that happened was the passing of my dog.
