Astrology has more to do with the study of the stars and their alignment and how they impact people whereas Horoscopes are charts that foretell the future of human behavior. They seem similar, but they are quite different. Astrology is accurate whereas Horoscopes can literally be made up.

I get what you mean about personality traits, but there are traits that apply to multiple signs...such as emotional to Cancer and Scorpio. It's more broad but not necessarily untrue since certain traits are more common within different birth months.

I can't believe people actually put so much stock in astrology tbh Like what did all of you do when it came out that all of the signs' dates changed as a result of changes in the Earth's axis? Did your personalities immediately change after reading the NASA blog post? Why don't you believe in the Chinese zodiac?

It's all confirmation bias. Everyone can see at least part of themselves in every sign. If you find out that a person's sign isn't ~compatible~ with yours, then chances are you're not going to get along with them because you expect to not get along with them.

They are. I think a lot of people just assume they're supposed to relate to everything about their sign, but thats not true. If you look at your full chart, you'll probably find in a lot of areas you are ruled by other signs. Which is generally why people find they relate to more than one. Obviously you also have to factor in free will and people's environments, certain life events can obviously change your behaviour and what not. Astrology is a good tool but obviously, like most things, cannot be viewed as defining, or as certain fact. That would be hard to achieve seeing as life has very little 'fact' to it.
