Lady Gaga hasn't even surpassed her peers, let alone living legend Miss Mariah Carey. Fool.

Mariah Carey. Often imitated, never duplicated.

Funny you say that because I didn't know Madonna in my childhood until the late 90s when she made a resurgence in popularity.

She is criminally underrated, the other popgirls can only dream of releasing the 1-2 punch that are Daydream and Butterfly, lyrically, vocally and musically

come back when Beyoncé has a global smash single at the age of 46. Og wait she's struggling even now to get her music to the people.
Merrier Xmas has sold 10,179 copies this week in the United States which brings its total for 2016 to 46,000 in just the 7 weeks it made the BB 200 soundscan chart, it has peaked at #28 on the BB200 and sold 115,000 in SPS copies.

AIWFCIY is pretty much something like a standart by now, which is good for her (not everybody has that), but y'all need to stop acting like that means people are actually checking for her or it makes her currently relevant as an artist. They're merely checking for an Xmas classic.
This is one of those receipts that belong in the "ridiculous receipts" thread.

Celine has been around since the mid 80s sis. Adele is only 3 albums and Rihanna has never even been an albums artist. so the only one you can even validate of those is Bey.
The answer remains no with Bey and Britney the only contenders thus far and with Taylor and Adele having most potential longterm.

LOL. Mariah is a lot of things but "underrated" is definitely not one of them. A few hating goats on ATRL isn't going to change that
The queen is a legend and this is absolutely true. The only one seeing Mariah is Beyoncé.
