Being fully in the closet isn't great though because you feel constrained.

Yeah but there aren't a lot of hot guys at college so I don't really have anyone to tell lol. I mean there a re a few more except the one I already told but I don't talk to them as much.

I can't articulate it.. I've only ever had one gay friend and I feel like I got along with him better than most girl friends I've had. The culture interests me. I guess because we both like guys -- that's also interesting. Talking to a guy who likes the same sex you do. lol

It can provide insight when talking about relationships and stuff. My [ex] gay friend could give me the male perspective on things, while I could also give him advice on dealing his with BF.

So it's interesting to tell people you're gay? I mean, people don't really think much of it, but it's fun to joke about with friends every once in a while, I guess. That's what I do anyway.

But anyway like Khal said, you're private about your sexuality, not closeted because you already came out to somebody. Even if it's not everyone, it still counts as coming out, right?

There is nothing cool about being in the closet tho. I used to tell myself the same thing and not have to worry about coming out to anyone as it's not a big deal in 2016.
I was wrong tho and it's affecting me because I have to hide who I really am every single day so I won't be ostracised. I know I have that spark in me but me being in the closet is blocking it.
