I'm sorry but there are few Republican policies that are any good. I agree with some but overall they only help the already rich. We already know that the only people getting tax cuts are the people who don't need it. So yeah, be Pro Trump. I just hope that in addition to being an ATRL member, you're also wealthy and white and straight and a man. Otherwise your life will be more difficult than it already is.

Of course he is going to undermine them, this is what the American people voted for. However, Obama's term and mandate is nearly over, he shouldn't meddle with what his successor plans to do. Not only is it in extremely bad taste, but also undemocratic. In my country, it's a custom that during the period between an election and taking office (in case of a switch), the leaving government or president doesn't make any significant decisions.

I do have a tendency to lump Democrats all together, because I really dislike their political stances and can expect a certain type of behaviour from them. Hillary Clinton called the supporters of her opponent "a basket of deplorables", a phrase which signifies arrogance and complete lack of respect for anything else. I don't know what exactly the NC Republicans did and what was its declared purpose, so I'm not going to comment on that.

And I think Trump's policies are going to help the working class and the American economy, so what Obama is doing is a bad thing. Still, I'm not going to judge the President Elect before he takes office. And not every politician has to undermine their successors, President Obama himself admitted that the power shift from George W. Bush to him was conducted very well.

That's your opinion and you're entitled to it. In my opinion, the leftist economic ideas proposed by the Democrats are tragic and would never vote for them, were I American. My country has parties like that too, sadly, and of course I'm voting against state-mandated theft. I think the exact opposite, think tax cuts for private businesses are great, since they are what the economy relies on.

Carrier has already said they're going to use the money from Trump's deal reliant on "keeping" jobs in the US to automate more of their factories in the US, essentially cutting jobs for Americans by the thousands (x).

Trump's complete lack of understanding on economics will lead to full automation arriving quicker than imagined for tons of industries, mainly those of the middle class worker - something he literally told people he'd do the opposite of.

If Obama wants to ensure that Trump doesn't screw up the country, he should block Trump. Let me tell you that Trump will not be good for the country. Obama has spent the last 8 years dealing with world affairs. Trump has only been briefed for the last few months. He doesn't have any idea of the scope of his actions and the complexities that go into world affairs.

How can you dislike the Democrats political stances? Do you dislike having liberty? The right for gays to marry? For a woman having agency over her body? Hilary was right to call Trump's supporters deplorable. Trump ran a campaign of hate. He focused very little on policies and plans and spent most of his time attacking his political rivals. You can't deride Hillary for lacking respect towards a man who insults women, brags about assaulting them, implied that Mexicans were rapists and criminals and on and on. He made those statements both on the campaign trail and before he ran.

Economic experts have said and the past has proven that republican economic policies hurt job growth. Tax cuts for the wealthy do not benefit the working man. The rich take the money and pocket it. You cannot expect corporate greed to ever think about you or I. It doesn't happen. Trickle down economics DO NOT WORK. I've argued this with several of my friends. We had big tax cuts for corporations during the Bush administration and we collapsed. I was a teenager during that time and I never saw businesses with "Now Hiring" signs. That's something my parents saw as well. They were shocked that I couldn't just go out and get a job like they did.

The economy, at least that of the United States, relies on money. The working man needs a higher wage and less taxes. Tens of millions of people with more money to spend will do more good than a few millionaires with money to spend. Because you can only spend so much. Even if you drop 20 million dollars on a house, how many people does that go to? It goes to a bank and a realtor. Maybe some contractors.

There's a saying about a republican administration. "The rich get richer and the poor get poorer" and it is true. Because republicans don't care. They don't care if I have healthcare, can marry the love of my life or if I can get a job. They actively work against the middle class in so many ways. Like being against higher wages, equal wages between the sexes and unions. Most republicans think worker safety laws harm businesses. Which is true. If a company could pay slave wages and not spend any money on safety regulations, many companies would. It's called greed. I personally do not want the United States of America to treat its workers like the workers in China, who often kill themselves because conditions are horrible
