I agree. If you want representation, then start your own production companies and hire minorities to star in your films. Don't wait around for white casting directors, producers, and directors to throw you a bone.

We do that and some white people still complain. POC complain about lack of representation and they say that we should make our own, then we do so and it's a problem too. They say crap like the BET awards or black girls rock are racist.

The truth is they don't want POC to have anything.

I really don't think that's true. I think a lot of black movies and shows - those are really the only minorities that are actually represented - rely too heavily on stereotypes and humor. Tyler Perry's movies, for example, aren't getting nods from the Oscars.
