First this bitch scraps the amazing original video for a tour backdrop looking MESS. A travesty, especially for a lead single.
Then she pays the Missy Elliott American Dream remix complete dust, a mistake considering it goes harder than the album version and could have peaked higher than #37. It's a KNOCK, it should have been sent to radio as soon as the original video was scrapped.
BO$$ was sabotaged by radio due to the Michelle Obama lyrics. It went platinum despite peaking at 4M radio audience. It would've smashed if radio hadn't blacklisted it.
"Loverboy" was 'sabotaged' when her ex-husband + CEO of Sony, orchestrated a 49cent discount for "Bootylicious" to block it on Hot 100 after hearing it had a 49cent discount organized to have it go #1. To finish it off, he remixed "I'm Real", a song he had use the same sampled instrumental for "Loverboy" remixed with Ja Rule to go also #1.
A masterful plan work perfectly if I've ever seen it.
Kid Rock's "All Summer Long" was literally sabotaged by him. He refused to put it up for digital sale, being against iTunes and such while believing music should be bought physical. It was a Top 10 hit at radio, and would've been Top 10, probably Top 5 on Hot 100 with sales. Instead, a fake karoke version was on iTunes and that version went #19 on Hot 100 just off sales. A second karaoke version by another person then appeared, also reaching #29 on Hot 100. As a result just based on airplay it peaked outside the Top 5, Top 10, and Top 20 at #23, even below the fake karaoke version.
No Doubt's "Don't Speak" spending 17 weeks at #1 on airplay, but not charting due to no release for sale and being album only (a song had to be on sale to chart prior to 1998).
Lil Kim's "Magic Stick" actually having enough points to be #1 against "Crazy in Love", but it being so close, Billboard went ahead and counted radio stations they didn't monitor that week and deemed "Crazy in Love" the #1.
& "Hollaback Girl" not having a 5th week at #1, because Billboard made a mistake and it was too late to change it.
Wow at iHype's actual tea and some type of "ha label sabotajed ha by not promoting ha".
