I was waiting for the bus one night in 2009 and this guy came up and asked for a dollar. I gave him two. As a rule I give homeless people the benefit of the doubt if they approach me respectfully. And then he started asking for more and I began feeling uneasy. I saw the bus coming so I reached in my pocket to get my fare and a glimpse of the $20 bill I had emerged. He started rambling "oh ****, you ****ed up now, you sure ****ed up now!" and then he jammed his hand in my pocket. I immediately ripped it out and yelled "what the **** are you doing!" I had a CD player (

) in one hand and a Snapple in the other, and I wondered which would do the most damage.
Then he said, "What's the problem man, it's not like I'm trying to rob you!"
The bus pulled up right then and I was able to get past him and get on. I told him he was lucky I didn't ignore his ass in the first place, got on, and that was it.
