Increasing the importance of Radio in the formula will hold off the urban trend a little for now... but once radio starts bandwagoning it again, it's over.

I don't have a problem with it, as long as the songs aren't bad.

It should do more tbh. The production is a lot trendier, it has an act on it who has seen a lot of US success in the past and recently (Sean Paul) and Anne-Marie is a lot more marketable than Jess Glynne to the American audience imo. Rooting for it to pull a Lean On and get Top 5.

Keep in mind BB is actually decent so that's the slow motion.
Panda isn't so that's the laffy taffy.

Maybe something in 2017 can be the Yeah, Hey Ya (something in 2017 I'm sure will be this innovative and unique) and Crazy in love (something in 2017 will hopefully be this iconic maybe a new Bey and Jay song

Goodies = Work (not the best hit and but will bring you back to the times)

In da club= One dance (in terms of being a signature hit that crossed over and remains a bop).

Cheap thrills = Candy shop (quick lil hit that was for the moment not the go to track for ha discography)

Ready for urban pop to takeover 2017 until pop figures out a new sound to trend on

ONE of the major + to the inclusion of streaming is that it weeds out huge hits that had their time and are hovering around the 40s and allows the songs breaking to get in with Bubbling under and 51-100 to at least rise a bit.

I am ok with the double counting of streams counting for hot 100 and billboard 200 because of something like this.

It has it's drawbacks and benefits

That song is a weird case tho it was released as a single January 2012 and it peaked at the end of the year

it had one of the slowest climbs I have ever seen and crazy longevity.
