-College.
-High school
-First breakup
-Moving out
-Living on my own
-Coming out

Plus meeting people that changed m life for good or bad, those are also timelines but my main one will aways be my family moving out.

Meeting the guy I like on the first day of high school and that also being the first day I went by my new name.

It can also be good things like the college experience, which is mostly good, or meeting the love of your life, a friend, getting married, etc!

If I had another name I'd like it to be something really old and hard to pronounce Alan is so easy to spell and say.

Either way this is very brave of you, people sometimes refuse to let go of things like this.

I'm inclined to say my moving to Oklahoma for school, I have an apartment, pay rent/utilities now, I work and go to school and am now saving up for a car. Life before was completely different.

It took me A LONG TIME before I finally accepted my orientation. I would be happy whenever I turned around to see a pretty girl because that would mean I could fake being entirely straight for more time Even after being with men I was still in denial Thankfully I eventually saw the light (Madonna) and I was inspired by a very good man to finally come out and I did and life has been great since , I don't think I've ever had my self esteem this high.

You seem to have your life in control! I hope I'm not wrong! I actually realized I do most of those things, except school, I have a full time job. My car is a bit old but it gets the job done plus it's cute and doesn't need too much gas You do get to mature A LOT when you are on your own, if I look back at my 2012 me and the 2016 me the changes are astounding. Congratulations!

Yes. So much happened to me that year and that was the beginning of shaping who I am today.

I'd also say 2007 when I became an active user

And 2014 when I moved to New York

Big moments in my life I consider kinda cut offs from the past of that moment are

1. Graduating High School and leaving that environment
2. Coming out in college
3. Graduating college

At and after these moments to this day I still feel like I changed a lot. Given I just graduated college, but I still feel like life is much different now that its over.

After high school, you kinda lose that seeing your friends everyday forever and you realize adulthood is kinda here. You need to really take your future seriously and focus on that and the people most important in your life because most likely you will not keep all your friends or see the same people all the time from high school.

When I came out in college I finally could talk about my feelings and interests openly without the feeling of judgement or people thinking im gay. Even if they "knew" it became official and made me comfortable with myself. My confidence skyrocketed after it and I felt like a brand new person.

And finally, now that college is over I just feel so much more grown up. Before I always had my parents to back me up if I really needed something and life wasn't as serious as it was going to get yet. I feel like I was still seen as a child, but now that I am done it feels completely different. I now need to work 40 hours a week and save for retirement and a house and such. Its a big step I'm ready for, but I def feel like a new me
