Well, I can say one thing or two about this. The United States make a very good propaganda of themselves through the media, so when I was 16 I wanted to visit there so badly. Too bad, nothing's as good as what they portray in the movies there. I don't think the American culture has influenced me at all, but it's probably because I've spent all my life in one of the culturally richest countries in the world, Italy! Not many people here can say they've been influenced by the American culture really... we're really proud of ours.
I pretty much grew up on American TV and music so I feel like my interests are very US-centric and in a lot of ways I relate more to American culture than British culture. There are many things I find off-putting about US culture though such as their attitude towards health care and gun control.
