I was never the biggest The Weeknd fan but this year has totally opened my eyes to his talent and amazing artistic ability. I knew this era would be gold when he cut the tree off his head and dropped Starboy. The lead single quickly became an addicting song with stellar production and such a unique story.
Then False Alarm dropped and I had lost almost all hope in the rest of his era. When his album dropped Abel once again won me back. No matter what's hes singing about from sex and drugs to being homeless he manages to pull it off. I can't believe he's one of-if not the best R&B artist in the game right now

PREACH Beauty Behind the Madness was the first album I heard from him and I absolutely hated half of it, while the other half was pretty solid. Now with Starboy there's only 1 bad song (the one with Future) and a lot more standout tracks.
This song is truly amazing. I did NOT expect her to deliver this after the tragedy that was Britney Jean. This song could have been her huge comeback if it weren't for the ****** video. G-Eazy's part is kind of unnecessary but the Dangerous Woman shutout is iconic. Music,not the bling I guess
#2-Ariana Grande-Into You
Did someone call for one of the best pop songs ever recorded? This song is like a journey. The vocal delievery just escalates this song onto another level after the perfect production. Another case where if the video was just a bit better it would have gone diamond and went #1 for 72 weeks. Ahh Ariana truly the queen of serving quality.

This might not only be my favorite song of the year but my favorite song of all time. I still remember how snatched I was the first time I heard it when it was premiered on Z100. Everything about this song is a 10/10 and I even stan for the rap feature. From the iconic ad libs to the stellar music video this song will defiantly go down as a classic.

Greedy is one of my favorites on Dangerous Woman and that final chorus >>>
Flex making the Top 20 I used to dislike it but it grew on a me lot
