i hope you're a troll and not actually this insane because that is patently false. it was another arab spring that assad decided to extinguish at any cost, including murdering his own people (so far as using chemical weapons) without any care. and even if there are syrians who support him (as there are almost always citizens who support ruthless and vicious dictators), that doesn't change the terror he is inflicting on anyone who disagrees with him and his country as a whole.
