You're a decent singer, but you're missing a distinctive voice. Despite Selena/Britney not being the most technically best singers around, their voices (especially Britney's) are unmistakable and easy to distinguish - you instantly know who is singing the song.

While having a distinctive vote is a good supplementary, I still don't get what it has to do with us outsinging Selena & Britney. I mean, I thought my recording sucked yet still sounded at least as good as Selena, if not better, from the very first try too.
What does a distinctive voice do you any good in this following case?
