Im watching CNN "President Barack Obama's Legacy" and im balling. I cant believe almost 10 years of my life where Obama. He did so much. All the Social undoing that Trump has promised is just saddening tbh. disgusting

I doubt it. Hillary's failure in the election was a referendum on Obama's presidency. People were tired of his administration and wanted a change. Further, Hillary pulled out Obama 2012 numbers this election in terms of popular vote, she simply didn't win with the right people. And Hillary won the working class white demographic over Obama in their 2008 primary battle. The tides simply against a Democrat, Obama (or Bernie) wouldn't have changed that.

They didn't choose Hillary. The most likely were not going to choose Obama again considering all of the issues during his administration.

This, tbh. Obama is commonly referred to as a president that did not live up to expectations as to what he could do for the AA community. I doubt he would have had significantly better turnout among the AA community. The biggest motivator to vote for a lot of that community was Trump, not Hillary or Obama.

Now I'm not hillary fan but she's not the only reason for her loss. She's the main but there wouldn't have been such an desire (accurate polling saying 70%) for change if Obama's presidency showed exceptional effective results.

Many Americans are aware of what transpired in his era regarding immigration, foreign affairs, foreign policy, domestic policy, GDP growth, economic recovery rate, healthcare, trade etc.

Yeah, I think he would have eked out a win, electorally speaking (also smashed in the popular vote just due to demographics). He probably would have performed similarly to Hillary, but the stronger minority turnout might have put him over the edge in several of the states she lost by razor thin margins.

Since he was more liked by millennials he also would have probably reduced the number flipping to third party/non-candidate write-ins or whatever.
