I've never heard anyone say anti was better than Lemonade except Rihanna stans and a few dumb people otherwise EVERYONE with a well functioning ear hears that Lemonade>>>>>>>>>> that trash.
Lol even Beyoncé's 3rd most acclaimed album "4" is better than Anti!
- TIME, Fuse, BET & other music critics said ANTI is better than Lemonade, and of course many people outside of the navy on Twitter. Relax.
- "4" wasn't nominated for any Grammys except for 2 of its singles (Party & Love On Top) and it was only featured on 12 year-end lists. ANTI made 40+ year-end lists, received 2 Grammy noms + 4 other noms for 3 of its singles (including ROTY). Like I said, relax.

Here's the B2 or whatever you were looking for Ressti
Yeah, but pre-BEYONCÉ was kinda old-school and raffinated when she did urban songs.I think there's a big difference when you listen Party to Sorry imo.

Rihanna wouldn't be rap-singing if it weren't Beyoncé. That's for sure.
Rihanna wouldn't be able to pull off any song on Lemonade lmao DEAD at someone saying Rihanna would sing Pray You Catch Me and Sandcastles better than Beyoncé Even Hold Up and 6 Inch is reaching lmao, she wouldn't be able to pull off the lower notes and she would fail to ATTEMPT the bridge on 6 Inch, Don't Hurt Yourself , Daddy Lessons.. She wouldn't dare attempt Love Drought, Freedom, All Night and Formation. Literally she has very bad videos or videos that have the same theme... she wouldn't have enough diversity.
SHE WOULD NEVER!
Rather stick to singing kwekwekwekwekwe
I mean, girl can't even hum on key on that atrocious song To even THINK she could attemp ANYTHING on Lemonade has me CACKLING
exactly
it'd be rather tragic...Beyonce has a certain way of interpreting her songs & how she uses her phrasing to create whatever vibe or mood she wants. a song like "Hold Up" is only being mentioned for Rih b/c it has that island vibe. but for instance... i dont hear Rihanna doing that last part of "Hold Up" using Soulja Boi in the way Bey sang it. i dont hear Rihanna singing the bridges of "6 Inch" using the type of vocal Bey did...Beyonce used 3 type of vocals on that 1 song. i dont hear Rihanna pulling off the unhinged aggressive screams of DHY. her attempts at rock have been pedestrian at best....another reason why i'm not convinced at her so-called "versatility" praise. anybody can "sing" any genre they want...that does not mean that it's authentic to the genre & how an artist from that genre would sing it. any genre Beyonce does...she always incorporates herself & elements of what a jazz singer would do or a rock, country, or hip hop artist would do in her approach. but also... songs like Daddy Lessons & Freedom? just no.
if Rihanna did it...it'd sound like a different album b/c Beyonce put all her touches on it from the song's production, lyrics, and her vocal production & interpretation. and it would be totally different visually...the whole aesthetic is very Southern, New Orleans, and black female empowerment which is not something Rihanna has been as much of an advocate for like Beyonce.

Rihanna wouldn't want to make an album like lemonade. She makes music for everyone and likes it to be universal in its message, since she understands she has impressionable young white girls, and children, following her. I feel like she wouldnt go around call them "Beckys" and reducing them to their skin color/hair. She likes to uplift women through her music not undermine them. Besides the BLM messages would probably get her into trouble since there are black Americans (especially Beyoncé fans) who would drag her for not being an American and not fully understanding certain cultural and historical contexts through firsthand experience (same if Beyoncé made "Work"). It wouldn't sit well. Plus she wouldn't be half as acclaimed as Beyoncé. Anti is objectively better than lemonade but didn't get as many good reviews or an AOTY nom.
Only Rihanna could have made an album like ANTI an only Rihanna did. It was the best album of 2016. I don't need a lemonade type of stunt from someone that talented. It's cheap.
This really ain't the first rodeo and it was absolutely implied Bey was somehow dipping in Rih's lane for doing songs like Sorry and 7/11 when Bey's been serving rap blended vocals and flows her entire career. The fact that you're saying nobody is saying it's ground zero and then go on to claim Rih developed and mastered it is precisely what I'm talking about.
Um well those two things are very different claims, not sure why you're acting brand new... and lol, Rihanna did master it though. She has the biggest urban hits of this style by far, much bigger than Beys, and anyone else's. That's just a fact.

Not really when the end result is this same either blatant or veiled attempt to credit Rih with something that she flat out isn't responsible for. She does it very well and has had success with it, but it's a fact that the mixed rap, rhythmic vocal deliveries that are popular among urban singers today is what Bey herself brought to the table in the urban scene, developed and progressed over the years throughout her career.
And the second part is also untrue:
BBHMM: #15 Hot 100, #48 Hot 100 Year End, top 10 in 7 countries, 2x Plat US, 2.2m WW sales, Spotify: 267,234,729
Drunk In Love: #2 Hot 100, #35 Hot 100 Year End, top 10 in 8 countries, 3x Plat US, 3.9m WW sales, Spotify: 235,531,881
Pour It Up: #19 Hot 100, #70 Hot 100 Year End, top 10 in 0 countries, 2x Plat US, 2m WW sales, Spotify: 88,070,345
7/11: #13 Hot 100, #61 Hot 100 Year End, top 10 in 3 countries, 1x Plat US, 2.1m WW sales, Spotify: 233,038,844

BBHMM & Pour It Up would've done much better if their videos were released on time: PIU video came out 9 months late, BBHMM vid came out 4 months late. Needed Me's video is age restricted and it wasn't a single in Europe.
+ Drunk In Love was a lead single (performed at the Grammys)

And? None of that negates the fact that the claim made in regards to the success of Rih's hip hop/urban/trap songs in comparison to Bey's was false. We can also say Formation could have been a #1 had Bey not withheld it from iTunes, streaming, made the video unlisted for 11 months -- but that's not what happened, so why even bring it up when directly comparing stats?
And not even sure why you're trying to bring Needed Me into the mix when it is not even in the same hip hop/trap category as BBHMM/DrIL/7/11/Pour It Up; it's an alt R&B track in the vein of The Weeknd.
I'm very pleased and content with Anti, I don't love Lemonade as much as I do Anti.
And no, assume Rih released it, it would never be as acclaimed because they hold different places with critics and the media, Bey has always been loved by them while they're hot and cold with Rih.

We were talking about urban songs, NM went #1 on Urban radio
