Kaleo - A/B
Disclaimer: I'm writing these reviews while I'm listening to the songs.

No Good.
I really enjoyed this song as an album opener and I can hear some Pearl Jam influences in here. It's a good album track but I wish the song had a bigger climax. It's very euphoric but if it had rougher vocals towards the end I think it could've elevated the song further. It's in the middle of the pack for me, knowing of what they're capable of. (

Way Down We Go.
I love, love, love this song. I believe this song is what fits the singer's voice better, when I first heard it on the radio I remember to be searching for the lyrics on Google cause it clicked with me instantly. The instrumental is really captivating and it blends really well with his vocals. To me this feels like an ode to old school rock that incorporates elements from modern music. If you like this track, you may want to try "I Don't Need Your Love" by Stealth. (

Broken Bones.
This is a really interesting song. I sense an old western cinematic vibe about it and I love that. Although this has the same lack of a climax just like the first track, I have no problem with this one since it's not as euphoric and full of energy like the first one, in fact I loved that thing about this song. It didn't need a build up cause I can see where they were going and it is interesting enough for the listener to follow. I literally can sense my brain walls echoing
"the devil's going to make me a free man. Final comment, this song is full of attitude (

Glass House
BITCH, WAIT. I really thought nothing could top ATPG for me. And though these two songs are very different, this one is my absolute favorite. It is so good and so badass. I can already see them sh**ting on stage while everybody goes off dancing to this song. I literally have nothing bad to say. The ending was a little abrupt but it still works. Perfect track. The
"come and raise my love part is insanely fascinating. I'm sad to see it flopped back in 2013

Hot Blood
Ugh. I'm really saddened to say this could've been another flawless track IF the first half of the song was as interesting as the second half. Really, the verses and the chorus do nothing for me but the bridge and outro alone are just that good. I felt like they first half of the song was carried by the guitar riffs and the vocals were just there to fill some kind of empty space. If it was based only on the second half of the song, I would give this a 9 or even a 10. But with a more objective vision, I can't give the song such score. A little disappointed but also a little slayed. (

All The Pretty Girls
This song is simply amazing. A perfect example of how it's possible to make a perfect track without doing too much. Simple yet outsandingly effective. His voice shine throughout the song showcasing a lot of power and vulnerability. When it came out I really thought this would smash a la "Riptide", so sad it didn't, it deserved to. At least the people who know this jewel, are blessed with the melancholic yet hopeful feeling it evokes. (

Automobile
A little country twist. I mean I heard some country elements in some other songs but they predominate in here. It's a really cute track but not as strong as the highs from the album. But it's nice to listen to this, I appreciate this kind of songs where it's just a melodic happy vibe that carries the whole song. I must point out that I really don't like whistling in songs, there are just a few songs where I can say it works. And for this one... well, it does! Also giving this song a little boost for mentioning Mexico. Such a cute detail

Vor Í Vaglaskógi
I love listening to songs in other languages I swear, for God's sake I gave a damn russian album! Sad thing I didn't find this to be as enjoyable as I thought it would be. To me, this sounds like a church canticle instead of a... well, a normal song. I do appreciate their effort and I think I understood their vision for the track but I didn't find it quite exciting. Or at least not as much as the rest of the tracks. The instrumental after the second chorus was a highlight for me and his falsetto on the last chorus too. A nice execution of a not so good idea. (

Save Yourself
So it seems like we're sticking to the acoustic slow songs from now on. But yeah, focusing on the track, lyrically this is my favorite one. It's a really interesting song too cause it feels like it's building up to something but at the same time you don't know if it's going to reach that point, which ultimately arrives after the second chorus. I would've liked it to be a little longer than it was. But 4:34 is long enough for a song I think, but I would've liked more of it. The instrumental brings a haunting feeling in the second verse. At times I liked the chorus, and at times I didn't, it was a little anticlimatic for me considering the nature and flow of the song. (

I Can't Go On Without You
In my opinion, this song was unnecessary. The worst part about it is that the song is six minutes long and the song gets interesting at 3:50, that's a time when I already want the song to end. Not really effective. Brings nothing new, not memorable. BUT the use of strings was really good! That's basically the only thing I loved about the song. The rest was pretty meh. I don't understand why some artists choose their worst songs as closers. Last impression also counts! (
