And if M.I.A. wants to have a discussion about things that assault our eyes, someone should tell her that the "kitschy" style she employs for her videos/album art/etc is by no means aesthetically pleasing.
Aside from some decent grid work, these covers assault my eyes with "try-hard" style that instead of looking impressive, looks like the work of a high school "freelance" designer who will most likely fail out of their community college graphic design course.
Justin Bieber's music videos are horrible.
