Who else shares this sentiment?

I hate when people try to overrate spending the holidays with your biological family. I'm not trying to be heartless or anything, but what's the point if they make you feel like crap and they literally contribute to your societal oppression & believe that you're going to burn in hell for all eternity?

Give me a small, tight-knit group of loyal, rational thinking friends & I'll be more than fine .

I'd definitely prefer doing that. All my friends will get together for New Year's though, so that can be my Christmas.
