Exactly.
When i graduated college in 2006, I was offered 6 jobs. My first year or so I was living in a studio apartment (small) paying $900 in rent but because I felt triumphant I would go clubbing, spend money on clothes, entertainment etc.
I then got in debt for a year or so
It's a phase.
You are in a higher status and the first 2-3 years out of college is the time to bask in the glory.
Sometimes you get a little cocky.
the funny thing is you are barely making ends meet and then when you finally make good money 5-10 years later you tend to not be so flashy.
I live a conservative lifestyle moreso now that i make 109.6k than when I started out in 2006 making late 30s/early 40s where i was balling like I had 100k+ annual funds
It's weird but it's also like kids are in a rush to grow up until you become an adult and then it's all about chasing, reliving or remembering your youth
