Fifth Harmony's large online fanbase means that any article written about them gets a ton of clicks and page views. That's all Billboard (or any online publication) really cares about when it chooses what articles to write.

If Epic pushed her into the studio to record her solo record ready to be released within the year then why would L.A. Reid be paying billboard?

Unless L.A. Reid's plan all along was to ditch 5H once Camila was ready and plaster her all over the press as promo.

[possible] - Lauren or co pull a Cheyl and will be more successful
[possible] - C pulls a Nad and will flop and say 5H management or some **** broke the group up
[possible] - Lauren and co will call her out on her **** saying she didn't want to continue the group unless the group took a hiatus for her own advantage

Not to mention that Nadine was also viewed by some as the leader of GA just like Camila was viewed by some as the leader of 5H

Nadine annoyed me for all of that mess she created and before that too with her two faced behaviour. And I actually wouldn't have wished her solo career ill were GA able to continue without her... (hint I WILL get to that level of pettiness if what happened to GA happens to 5h)

But Nadine at least had a voice that didn't literally make you skip parts of songs.

This topic is kinda hilarious. As someone who can't hum a single note of any 5H song or describe any of the members as anything other than "Female", it makes me laugh every time someone calls this girl selfish for not bowing down to pressure and staying in a band she clearly doesn't want to be a member of. It's ironic, y'all are the true selfish ones, only thinking about what you want and giving her feelings no consideration.

She doesn't want to be in the band, she told the others she wants to take time off to do something she wants to do, whether that's alone or if they all take a break. They decided that they don't want to take a break, and thus she left. They don't own her life, she doesn't owe them undying servitude, it's not selfish to leave a job you dislike for a similar job with better opportunities.

But sure, "she's selfish cos I enjoyed that band and now that band doesn't exist for my enjoyment!"

LOOOOOL I mean this is LITERALLY the case with Fifth Harmony. Having their songs smash doesn't mean they are big. Fifth Harmony songs are big not because of the girls. The songs would be big if they had anyone in them. Same with the video.

NOBODY knows 5H. NOBODY. They can't sell albums or bring in big money from touring. Even LITTLE MIX, a "local" UK group has sold more albums than these people.
5H is a sinking ship. They have no hope. There is no amount of "notoriety" that can help them. People will not pay special attention to them because they are a "girl group". Nobody gives a damn about that. The only people who do are internet stans who think that they count for something - but, as seen by the "success" (or lack thereof) or Fifth Harmony, they don't.
