What are you talking about? "Sodomy" and "unnatural sex" is illegal in many Asian countries because of western interference. They were former British colonies and still retain British laws.

That's true, though. Human rights and democracy are western inventions. If not for the West these countries would still be sultanates/rajahnates to this day.

And is there anything wrong with that? Thailand wasn't colonized, and still slays. Many Asian societies are organized even before Westerners came along.

The only reason he's saying this is just so that the West (the ONLY ones that are still investigating his BILLION DOLLAR corruption case) would stop interfering and exposing him since everyone else, including the Malaysian government stopped investigating the case, just like that.

US is very selective to their criticisms tho. It's not like they are lecturing Malaysia out of their goodwill it's coz they need to be seen as this big superpower country so they bully the lesser/smaller countries stop being delusional everything the US does is for it's own good.

We need to mind our own business. I don't care what they do with their countries. The west can't save the entire world. We should focus on our countries.

Thailand was not directly colonized by the West, however, westerners were heavily involved in its internal affairs after WW2. It uses many aspects of colonial legacy like the parliamentary government system. Homosexuality was also banned in Thailand at some point and decriminalized in 1956.
