I think that releasing a "visual album" makes music seem deeper and more interesting than it would if it stood by itself.

I really like the music and I watched the film like 1 time I guess? so I guess the music speaks for me. it's a stellar album.

Agreed. I bought Self Titled for the sole reason that it accompanied videos for each song.

it's complicated.
the film wasn't just music video after the finished album.
she had those storys, visuals, stage, ideas during record session and out of like 80 songs, she used specific songs to fit in film's story line.
so If there was no film, there's no lemonade.
