I believe this is justified. Money won't replace Christina, but it will help out her family in the future... and the venue should be held accountable for the lack of safety.

Eh, he had multiple weapons on himself and went in there with the intention to kill her. Had security tried to stop him he would have killed them as well. Pointless.

People say, relasing music is unrespectful, but it's ore unrespectful act like her unrelased songs ceased to exist with her.

Now you call that suing the venue moneygrabbing, but that would set a precedent for venues to do **** about security instead of just getting bad reputtation and not having to care bacause they won't get sued, seeeee!?!??

This. I always thought it was up to the person hosting the event? If anything they should sue the organizers of the event.

It's her own team's responsibility imo for handling security. No one would've realistically enacted a super-high level of security for Christina Grimmie unless her own team mandated it in the contract/rider, etc.

Um no. The guy got into the venue with multiple weapons. This is not her or her team's responsibility or fault.

These venues need to start doing better bag checks, pat downs, and have tighter security with metal detectors. After this Christina tragedy I would imagine that venues would have gotten a lot better with security and yet I go to dozens of shows a year and even big arenas still haven't gotten better.

Concerts have such poor security nowadays, I remember at my Carrie concert it's a two second pat down than you're good to go. It really needs to be stepped up as a whole.
