Yes I'm black so of course. But many of my friends end up being latino. You don't see many black dudes in orchestra... (well I didn't until like my senior year but they were freshman )
No, not really. I grew up mostly with other Asians and white people. Even in college, there are barely any black people, but I would love to be friends with at least one. They seem like such fun people especially on twitter.

Edit: I did grow up with a nanny from Sri Lanka and she was the sweetest and most caring person ever, unfortunately there are virtually no black people in my country.

I've never understood threads like these, like not growing up around black people is supposed to explain ignorance and intolerance somehow. I hardly grew up around white people and so did everyone around me yet we remain decently thinking/treating them.
