The more I think about it, the more I like Jorge Luis as the winner. He's not one of those players who values physical strength over everything else, like many of them do on this show, and he was smart enough to target the challenge threats/keep around players he could beat. He wasn't the strongest but he made up for it with his strategy. His stuck up attitude at times is probably what turned viewers off the most. I loved going to his twitter at the end of each episode just to see him get into unnecessary arguments with his haters.
The real star of the finale was Geraldine, though.
Almost 100,000 views in less than a day. It's now at 190,186... She DESTROYED Ana in front of all of Mexico.
I honestly feel bad for Ana. It's clear she still hasn't realized just how badly she came across this season. From a TV perspective, she was an amazing trainwreck to watch. I'd probably put her really high in my final ranking of the season.
Next season has a lot of potential since it's going to be all civilians. The celebs sometimes worry too much about protecting their image. I want more civilians like Ana who show us their true selves. And a cute gay guy.
