Women’s Wear Daily recently estimated that a big-name celebrity with a large social following, such as Kylie Jenner or Taylor Swift, can earn up to $300,000 for a single sponsored Instagram post. (And one post from Selena Gomez, who currently has the most followers on Instagram, is “worth” about $550,000, per a recent analysis.)
I can't believe she's the most followed on Instagram. I just always thought it'd be someone like Taylor or Rihanna or even Ariana.
And the fact that she barely uses Instagram nowadays + her most-liked photo (which is THE most-liked photo on Insta is a Coco-Cola ad. Her branding power is too real.
If that's true then woo, the people bitching about how "Insta followers don't equal album sales!!" are about to have some real bad news delivered to them
I guess like if she posts a (for example) SPONSORED pic of coca cola. The company will pay her that much since a lot of people check out her pics, so coca cola used the opportunity to advertise. I guess since she has millions of likes, she will get her pay based on how many people liked that specific selfie with the product she is posing with and she gets lots of money cuz lots of ppl liked the sponsored product selfie.
