Most of what you said is wrong though.
The Olympics are from Greece, and no European country has even half of the US population so winning more medals would be difficult.
Machinery is not American. Mass Production was invented in Britain, the electric motor in various European countries and the car in Germany.
Innovation - Apple vs the toilet, modern day sewage system, democracy, world wide web, telephone,
Marketing started with the invention of the printing press in Europe and magazines and newspapers.
Netflix vs the invention of the television and world wide web in Britain.
But I don't know why you were trying to argue impact in a thread about beautiful cities.
