Survivor is so much better. Especially because BB has been on the decline for the past ~5 seasons due to awful production/casting. We'd never get awful people like Nicole, James, or Natalie on Surv

The season wasn't good in quality (as it was very predictable) but it was entertaining.

Derrick made sure there was no drama and everyone always voted with the house, it was the least entertaining season of BB.

I tried to get into Big Brother with the most recent season that was on the air. It was Survivor off-season so I tried.... it was terrible. There were some hot guys but that's it. The fact that it's live really brings the show down for me. It is literally just trashy reality with a dash of strategy thrown in. Survivor is entirely filmed before airing so they have time to foreshadow events, build character arcs, craft intertwining stories, etc... The editing is an art form tbh. I can see how it being live would be a draw for some, though.

Are there any seasons that a BB fan can recommend me to watch? What is the Pearl Islands, China, HvV, Cagayan, etc. of Big Brother?

BB because even if it's an off season, it's generally more fun to watch.

Survivor isn't bad but it rarely has good strategy just because of how the format is set up with tribes. Also waiting a whole week for an episode <<<

Big Brother 6 and 10 are both excellent seasons because the house is divided in half.
BB14 and 17 are the only good recent ones.
Big Brother Canada 2 is great too, way better than most American seasons.
