People who complain about body searches and body scanners at the airport sound really egotistical to me and like they overstate their own importance. Nobody cares what you look like naked or what your boobs feel like.
People just don't want the plane to blow up
Studies have shown these searches are extremely ineffective, allowing for banned weapons and explosives to be smuggled in 95% of the time in undercover investigations (on mobile so can't link but Google it), so it's really not as much as a protective service as people are lead to believe.
Not that the extent of current TSA searches are super effective, they're hardly an inconvenience. It's SO annoying when people freak out about them. They take 10 seconds and they do it thousands of people every day and these people always gotta complain that THEY are like the only person who has to do this.
