The point is, Little Mix have been together for 5 years now, and they are still doing well, getting along and making things work. It doesn't matter if they all auditioned solo when they tried out for X Factor, they're making the group work out, something that 5H isn't doing.
And One Direction broke into the American industry as well, they didn't just split up right off the bat and no one bailed right off the bat either.
