It-s me or they are going to pull a k pop esque career??? that is great that's why k pop groups last longer I mean SNSD are still together well it would be like that if SM didn't fire Jessica but I mean F(X) and Shinee are still together after many years
It's so early in their careers to do this, they should've have stuck it out and tried to make names for themselves prior. Beyonce and Justin were both household names prior to their solo careers, and I think it made a difference.
Yes. Destiny's Child and N'SYNC had more work and time put in. They also had more success. I do think the side projects while the group keeps going is great, but I blame their management for all of this.
The article specifically says that in January they'll have big announcements for their solo endeavours AND for the group as a whole. How are you guys interpreting this as them breaking up soon?
Anyways, I'm really happy about this. Side projects will give them the creative control they've always wanted, so they'll stay motivated to be part of the group. Oddly enough, I'm very optimistic about their future

You know what, this is all starting to look like jealously and petty input from parents who think their baby girl should be the star or the popular one...I always got them vibes from Normani's mom who was a seasoned stage mom in the houston area and Lauren's mom who used to have meltdowns on twitter over Camila's manager tweets.
It's super rare for every group member to have a successful solo career. I cringe every time I hear a group disband for solo careers. Fetch isn't gonna happen girls. Only 1 out of 5 usually has the X Factor or whatever you call it and everyone else is just background.
It's strange to me that this dated form of thinking prevails. It's 2016, wake up girls. Thanks to the internet it's a different world and there's room for anyone and everyone who wants to make music, as long as they have a captivating personality. This isn't like the 90's where the industry can shut you out if you're not the Beyonce-esque member.
