But I know that's not how all black people act, I have worked with a few who have immigrated from Africa and their a complete 180 from a reality depiction - I've never met people so calm in my life tbh.

Canada has this wonderful reputation for being this diverse and accepting potpourri or patchwork of every kind of beauty under the sun, but, with some notable exceptions in the larger cities, I think there's still quite a lot of WASPiness here. Especially in the smaller towns. Sad.

My university is outside London has more white people and internationals (mainly East Asians) than black people though.

Not really. My early schooling was mostly white people with a handful of Asians like me. However, in High school there was a black guy in my class and we were really good friends. He's now living in America and works as a pastor. I miss him.

In terms of my local community like my neighbourhood, we were the only Asians amidst a flock of white people and we were regularly abused racially.

In primary school we were a class of about 20 people. 3 black people (one of whom is my bestfriend for 15 years and counting, I know this sounds like I have a black friend but it's the truth don't kill me )

Keep in mind I come from a very small city, and there were also 3 Arab people in my class. So it was around half white people, half minority. Everybody was hanging out with everybody, my teacher was Arab as well, my primary years were so flawless wish I could go back it went by way too quickly

Univerisity luckily i went to Metropolitan so there were loads of black people

+ i grew up in Whitefield manchester a predominantly white area, my current area is still predominately white.
