J.Law relatably clocked $20 million salary question.
There were reports that Jennifer Lawrence demanded and got paid $20 million plus 30% of the profit for starring in the Passengers movie and she was asked about it here.
she answered this in the best way possible. there's nothing wrong with trying to get paid as much as you possibly can, what's the point in being modest and demanding less money than you're worth?
I would've thought she was worth 20m before this too so it's fair.
But she proved me wrong with how passenger is flopping tbh. She needs either a great movie or an established franchise like most stars.

That said, I do think it's gonna underperform and I think we're gonna start seeing JLaw on name alone isn't a HUGE draw. She's a big star but she was literally in the right movies at the right time. (Hunger Games, O. Russell films, X-Men, etc.) $20 million does sound like too much but we'll see.
She is a buisness woman, and I like how she used the word 'employee', letting people know it does not matter what field or industry you are in, if you are working for a company you are an employee.
Again, she knows what she is worth. In 2012, she starred in The Hunger Games which grossed almost 700 million. Then she starred on a 200 million dollars worldwide film and won best actress at the Oscars and Golden Globes in Silver Linings Playbook. A year later she starred in the Hunger Games sequel which grossed 800 million, American Hustle which grossed 250 million, critically acclaimed and received ten nominations at the Oscars. A year later she starred in Joy, which she was nominated for an Oscar and won in her category at the Golden Globes. (I won't mention anything after 2015, but you guys get the point).
Again, those three years span, she has accomplished a lot and she sky rocketted to one of the higher paying actors - and she deserves to demand that much money plus bonus. Throwing her name onto a movie poster will already get people to watch it, she's making a name for herself. What's the point of winning all these oscars, getting recognition, and still getting paid the same amount? As of 2016, every film she has starred in has grossed over 5 billion. She is a money maker.

Pff Ive never seen an interview where a journalist asked the paychecks of a star . This pointless witch hunt. At least it's clear the questions weren't filtered
This is probably the most likable she's come across in any interview that I've seen of hers. I am glad she didn't get offended and actually answered the question honestly without trying too hard to be quirky.
