Sia pre-mainstream fame I'll agree was a better singer than Adele, but now she's all hoarse and croaky.

I don't think Adele is necessarily even the best vocalist ever but she's definitely a very good one. Not everything is about hitting super high notes and doing crazy little runs. Nina Simone and Amy Winehouse didn't have insanely big ranges but they had great voices regardless
