I'm sorry, why do people say "yes, racism obviously exists" then get defensive when proof of racism is displayed? It's like even speaking about racism is thrown into the "SJW" basket nowadays.

White people are historically racist against POC, whether they be straight or gay. That is a fact. Of course they're not *all* racist, that's so obvious it doesn't need to be stated, but white people being cool with casual racism toward POC really shouldn't be shocking or controversial.

I'm not speaking about white people individually when I say that, but as a demographic. It's very hard for white people (anyone, really, but especially white people) to be born and bred in this racist society and not internalize at least some of it.

It's also important to note that being racist doesn't necessarily mean that you throw around slurs and refuse to associate with people of color, it can be a lot more subtle and subconscious than that.

there's some things that are known like not all white gays are racist. we KNOW that. I can use the feminism and "NOT ALL MEN" as an example. women KNOW that not all men are sexist. but some of them are, and they're talking to THEM.

historically white people were racist all along and black people suffer from this since humans learned to talk. they're pointing THAT out. if you're not racist that's cool! but don't change the subject to that. that's not what we're talking about. that's stealing the protagonism

The amount of times I've spoken to Asian / Indian guys on Grindr who say really saddening things like "wow, didn't think you'd respond to an Asian / Indian guy" just make me feel disgusted for humanity.

It's obvious that not every white gay man is racist but a huge portion of then are and I say this from experience
