The biggest problem with Iraq and Libya was our withdrawing our troops from there.
A NATO-like deal with Libya would have protected them no matter how much you try to **** over our military. We've already listened to y'all progressives when we withdrew out of Iraq and guess what happened? Terrorism took over.
