In terms of longevity, yes. But she has NOT topped the cultural moments of Kesha's singles, including Tik Tok and Die Young.

Ariana's best shot towards global #1:

And still not hitting the GP, the radios,... hard enough to ensure everyone and their grandparents have heard of her and know the words. Still no pop identity.

Kinda, yeah. Was Ke$ha musically relevant for more than one era? I know the term is more commonly associated with certain other dancepop blonde chanteuses, but kesha seems like the textbook definition of a fad

Kesha has the bigger single, while Ariana has more talent, longevity, and most likely albums in the long run. But admittedly I'm not that familiar with kesha's receipts outside of tik tok.

And? Call Me Maybe is bigger than any of Ariana's singles, but that doesn't mean Carly Rae Jepsen is bigger than Ariana. It's been established Kesha has had the bigger singles, but Ariana has the bigger album sales, YouTube streams, Spotify streams, tour gross, social media presence, etc. And at this point, all of Kesha's singles are forgotten anyway, hence the bad recurrent streams, views, sales, and airplay.

Just because she didn't have a colossal debut doesn't mean she didn't have no identity, Ariana's team pushed her as 'the pint sized girl with a big voice' and that still carries to this day.
Also another reminder that hits doesn't warrant longevity in some cases

If anything, Kesha is only comparable to Meghan Trainor.
Both had HUGE debut singles, a very successful 1st era but flopped with their second albums.
Plus, both kinda do the blonde white-girl rapping/singing thing.

Kesha and Ariana are not comparable in any way shape or form

The extent of Kesha's success was largely limited to one era in one country. Problem, Break Free and Bang Bang were all big, back-to-back, global hits. Kesha had TiK ToK, which was obviously bigger than any Ariana song, but it failed to establish her in the same way that Ariana was quickly established. Kesha never had the strong social media presence and large following that Ariana has.
