A woman's video plea for a meeting with pop diva Mariah Carey got the long-shot response. Saturday she'd hoped for when the cancer-stricken fan met the singer at her Christmas show in New York.
"I don't even know how to explain it," Larissa Podermanski, 30, said Sunday afternoon. "She was surprisingly very down to earth."
Podermanski said she met Carey just after midnight after the singer's show was over. She was greeted with a hug from the singer and for 15 minutes they talked.
"We talked about different songs that meant a lot to me and I told her my story ... she was very attentive and caring," she said. "I didn't know what was going to happen that morning, there were no details about anything."
