It actually is an incredible video, though. Just because it's not flashy and high budget doesn't mean that it doesn't do a good job symbolizing and encompassing the overall message the song possesses. The video starting out in the desert illustrates her loneliness and isolation she is feeling from whomever the song is directed towards. When the people in the SUV's pull up to rescue her, they are actually a representation of her heart, because although she wants to leave, she knows that she must find "one good reason to stay". As she's in the dressing room staring at herself in the mirror, this demonstrates two sides of Gaga coming together and communicating. One side is her heart, and the other is her head, and they are coming together to discuss whether or not she wants to leave or stay. I think this is a beautiful and very intricate metaphor. The clips of her in the Joanne outfit with the guitar exemplify Gaga as a performer, and how she is putting her true emotions and thoughts into her music and sharing it with the world. Finally, the necklace she receives, assuming it is from the person that "Million Reasons" is about, is the "good reason" for Gaga to stay. Why is this? It is a rosary, and so this proves that the person she is conflicted about, is God. "Love you sis", the note attached with the rosary, is God's method of making sure Gaga receives and is adorned in his unconditional love. After all, she is a "sister" of her church. At the end of the video, she is seen hugging the people from the SUV. This represents her head and heart coming together as one, deciding that she will stay with God after all. I mean, she even says in the song, "I bow down to pray" and "Lord, show me the way". Sometimes, you have to look in between the lines to really understand her, but isn't that what Gaga has been making everyone do all along?

I think it's her best video of all time.
