Formation wasnt even a single so im not sure what that Jlo stan was grasping at. Lemonade probably sold more in a week than Jlo last 3 albums total sales combined.
It bothers me how, if it wasn't for the video, Formation would have been potentially ignored.
Something like Freedom deserves Formation's acclaim, cause unlike formation, it can stand on its own lyrically.
This is why it's iconic Beyoncé made a song to DANCE to not every song speaking on important issues has to be the same . It was for the people being left out the conversation ( black women & Queer black men )

The list is so subjective
I still think Formation (or maybe Freedom?) and Ultralight Beam deserve Top 2 spots, but the rest...
I mean, they didnt even list Tim McGraw's Humble and Kind, Little Big Town's Better Man, Maren Morris' My Church, and many country singles this year which makes that list look irrelevant
