I think this thread was already created recently.
Anyway I don't. She's an amazing performer (one of the best alive right now) and artist and I love her music. But the problem is that the media propel her to this higher standard and treat her like a God rather than an actual human. Critics can't even constructively criticise her these days without some fuss not being made or them potentially being called racist (which they're probably trying to avoid during this Lemonade era).
Like Formation is far from being the best song of the year but it's cool and safe (alongside it providing more clicks for their site) to put Bey at #1 for everything where as if someone else released all that, it probably wouldn't see the top ten.
Also doesn't help that her fans are too cocky about everything and will shut you down with "Acclaim!! Sales!! When will your FAVE

" just for having an opinion. Plus every black female artist that rises up ends up getting torn down because they're a threat to their fave. Nearly 12 years later and the Hive are still on Rih's case (not excusing that the Navy also jump on Bey/The Hive sometimes). That's one of the reasons why there no big black female stars debuting.
I wasn't expecting my post to be an essay tho
