Stupid question. How can 1=2 when they're different numbers in the first place

How is 3 equal to both 2 and 4? And how is 2 equal to both 1 and 3? Lol.

1 = 2, but 2 = 3, so 1 = 3, and 3 = 4, so 1 = 4.
4 + 4 = 8

It has to do with integrals

I think I understand it now. Any non-mathematical symbol/chunk of text between two numbers is a divided by sign.
So 2, 2 = 2/2 = 1
3 and 3 = 3/3 = 1
4 then what is 1+3 = 4/(1+3) = 1
So we have 1=1=1=1
Which is correct
