Sis. I do agree that FF actually felt like a decent sized era at the time. But now it must also be one of the most forgotten ones by a big pop girl this decade. In retrospect there is absolutely nothing memorable about that era.

I think it's somewhat forgotten. Part of that is because Britney herself hasn't been in the spotlight for a really long time. Beyonce being really successful now boosts her catalog sales / streams.

Yeah it was 4. Britney's singles from the album didn't even slay that much WW. I think Britney might have edged her out like a teeeeeny tiiiiiiny bit there in WW singles sales but Bey murked her in album sales so she won. Nobody remembers any of the singles from that Britney album meanwhile everybody knows Run The World and Love on Top.

If FF did so well with a much wider audience and crossed over better why did it sell less than 4?

Also not only was 4 bigger in the US, it outsold FF basically everywhere WW.

I'm from the UK and FF has sold 100k copies here, whereas 4 has sold 700k copies
FF does not even have a certified single here whereas 4 has a platinum and 2 gold singles.

FF a pop era was extremely local. 4 a R&B era was much more global.
