Y'all are so sensitive about veg*nism. For people who are apparently "top of the food chain" and the "most evolved species" you are very defensive when it comes to a few comments about your diet. And you don't even have any real issues to complain about, vegans campaign for animal rights while carnists "campaign" for... their tastebuds? Give me a break .
Anyway Reinvention summed it up nicely . And if y'all meat-eaters are so worried about plants then stop eating them as well, try and see if you can survive just on meat and get back to me. I know y'all love your vitamin/protein deficiency arguments, so let's see how that works out.
Oh im sorry, did a random persons opinion trigger you? Do you need a safe space?
Like i said, i have no problems with them. Just dont come at omnivores acting all superior. Every living being has things to contribute, cows, chickens and pigs happen to contribute their meat and dairy
Vegetarianism is well beyond worrying about "causing pain" but ok.
Anyway this obsession by meat-eaters to try and shame other people rather than face your own decisions and the environmental destruction you cause by eating meat, is transparant and sad.
I eat meat, and I know that my choice makes a negative impact, and I applaud anyone vegetarian or vegan that has adopted the diet for their health and to reduce their carbon footprint.
Attempting to shame anyone for that is sad and displays your insecurity and/or selfishness towards the world and future generations.
