I guess you could say I'm one of the generational straddlers because I'm young enough that the internet/social media was a part of my formative years, but old enough to still feel like publicized documentation of every single passing thought and mundane activity is weird, unnecessary and kinda dumb. Sometimes I feel a little old when I find myself rolling my eyes at the 20th pic popping up in my feed of someone's half eaten lunch or artfully arranged Starbucks cups. On the flip side, I really don't understand why simple technology designed for the not-so-bright general public is so hard for so many older people to grasp and gain familiarity with -- like, just read, ffs.

Yeah technology definitely dates us in a lot of ways.
