But if NONE of the tracks were done in that time, I don't think it makes sense to say that it took so and so amount of time to work on the album.
Cz we know none of the tracks were done in 2010, lbr. Nicki releases an album, promotes it, goes on tour, then takes a semi-break, then begins again. But that's besides the point.
If one or two of the songs on an album were created two years ago, I understand the "it took two years to make the album" talk, but eh that's also spotty, because if she were to include a track from 09, we wouldn't say that she was working on NM4 for six/seven years.
