for all the things to be disappointed in Kanye with, I don't think his meeting with Trump is one of them.

There's come a point where we're gonna have to stop being divided and actually have an open dialogue with the people who oppose us. Otherwise, eatch side is just living in an echo chamber and no progress will be made in rectifying our current situation. I'm not saying we all get together and sing Kumbaya, but why shouldn't we be talking to people like Trump and other like-minded individuals? It might end up fruitless, but it doesn't mean we shouldn't make the effort. At least then there's no blood on our hands for trying.

People wanna act like him being diplomatic with Trump is him abandoning every moral and ideology he's ever had, but I'm not going to be that cynical and simple-minded.

So then what do you think about Jim Brown meeting with Trump? Or Obama having conversations with him? Or Trevor Noah interviewing Tomi Lauren?

My point is, whether you think it's genuine or not, we need people having dialogues with the Trump team. There probably isn't any reasoning, but what is the other option? How are we gonna voice our concerns to the government if we don't have people in positions to talk to the president not use their platform? Even if the government doesn't care, you really think we should just treat the man who is going to run our country for the nest four years like a pariah? No, we need to have him under constant supervision from people we can trust. Kanye might not be that person, but I personally still believe he cares about the community he came from.

Obama had no choice. Its customary. He has to show that man how to do the job. And as reported he has had to spend more time trying to get Trump ready than usual. That's what he's suppose to do.

And I don't think the meeting was genuine, so all you other points are negated. They did it for attention. Period. So what could have been done or said is irrelevant. Kanye is being used as a puppet. Period.

Kanye is a pretty much all round disappointment.
